Matriarch Exhibition

In 2019 Anaiwan and Gumbaynggirr artist Gabi Briggs held the Surviving New England: Our Koori Matriarchs, Part One exhibition at the Armidale Aboriginal Community Garden. The exhibition was sponsored by the University of New England and Regional Arts NSW, and was held in conjunction with the ASLEC-ANZ 2019 biennial conference, ‘Grounding Story’.
